Пам'ятний напис на оглядовому майданчику Високого Замку.
At this place in XI-XIV centuries there stood a defensive castle of Old Ukrainian princes.
During the liberation war under the command of hetman Bogdan Khmelnitskyj Ukrainian army surrounded Lviv and on the 14th of October 1648 Maxim Krivonos's regiment took Vysokyj Zamok by storm.
In 1869 an observation ground was built at Vysokyj Zamok.
After the resumption of Ukrainian Independence in 1991 the Ukrainian State flag was raise here.
